There are two official ways of obtaining the GSB app for Android and only one way to get it on an iPhone.
- Android: There are two ways to get the GSB android app. One can download the application from Google Play Store by searching “GSB”. The other way is to download the GSB APK from the official help page on help.gsb.co.tz/download-app. This download will come in handy where the Play Store is unavailable. It is always important to download from the official page.
- iOS: The ios app for GSB is available on the Apple App Store. Users can download it using the same method they would to download any other app by searching “GSB” on the App Store.
Regardless of the platform being used, the GSB app is easily downloadable via an official source.

First Login and Deposit

After logging into the application, depositing funds using mobile money is done completely through the app. Proceed to select the Deposit page from either the main page or account page. Choose mobile money as the payment option, which can be either M-Pesa or Airtel Money in Tanzania. Fill in the amount of deposit and proceed to authorize the payment from the mobile wallet. The deposit will take effect in the account after a few minutes.
Keeping the App Updated
Updating the GSB mobile application will make sure that you have access to the newest features and security updates. Sometimes, using an outdated version may result in login or loading problems.
- Google Play users: Open the Play Store, search for GSB, and tap Update if one is available. Enabling auto-updates for the app removes the need to check manually.
- APK users: Revisit help.gsb.co.tz/download-app periodically to check whether a newer GSB APK version has been released. Download and install it following the same steps used during the initial install – there is no need to uninstall the existing version first.
- iOS users: Updates appear in the App Store under the Updates tab or the account profile page.
