Sports Betting at Gal Sport Betting (GSB): Markets, Odds & Leagues
Gal Sport Betting (GSB) covers football, basketball and Formula 1 through one sports menu, with markets open from the moment a fixture list is published until kickoff. Pick a match, choose a market such as match winner or total goals, add it to your bet slip, and confirm your stake to place a bet in a few taps.
This page covers the pre-match sports menu specifically. Matches already in progress move to GSB’s separate Live section, and Aviator, virtual and casino games live outside the sportsbook entirely — see the homepage for the full product range.

Which Sports Can You Bet On at GSB?
Football is the anchor of the GSB sports menu, with basketball and Formula 1 as the two other dedicated categories in the main navigation. Each sport has its own set of markets and a bet slip that carries across all three, so a football single and a Formula 1 outright can sit in the same slip if you’re combining bets.
Every market above is also available on the app, with the same bet slip and odds as the desktop site.
- Football — the deepest market menu, covering domestic and international fixtures.
- Basketball — match and handicap markets across the competitions GSB lists.
- Formula 1 — race winner and podium-style markets around the race calendar.
Football Betting at GSB
Football carries the widest range of markets on GSB, typically including:
- Match Winner (1X2) — back the home win, away win, or draw.
- Double Chance — cover two of the three possible outcomes in one bet.
- Over/Under Total Goals — bet on whether combined goals go above or below a set number.
- Both Teams to Score — a straight yes/no on both sides finding the net.
- Handicap — a virtual head-start or deficit applied before the match starts.
- Correct Score and Half-Time/Full-Time — higher-odds markets for a more exact result.
- Bet Builder — combine several of the above from a single match into one bet, at combined odds.
Popular Betting Markets Explained
| Market | What It Means | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Match Winner (1X2) | Pick the winner, or a draw | Bet on Team A to win |
| Double Chance | Cover two outcomes at once | Team A win or draw |
| Over/Under Goals | Bet on total goals scored | Over 2.5 goals in the match |
| Both Teams to Score | Both sides score at least once | Yes / No |
| Handicap | A head-start or deficit is applied | Team B starts at -1 goal |
| Bet Builder | Combine markets from one match | Team A to win + Over 2.5 goals |
Basketball and Formula 1 at GSB
Basketball markets follow the same logic as football — match winner, handicap and totals (over/under points) are the core options for each fixture. Formula 1 betting centers on race weekends, with race-winner and podium-style markets available once the entry list for a Grand Prix is confirmed.
Live (In-Play) Betting vs. the Sports Menu
The sports menu above is for matches that haven’t started yet. Once a game kicks off, it moves to GSB’s dedicated Live section, where odds update in real time as the match develops — a different set of markets and a different page from the pre-match menu covered here.
How Odds Work at GSB
GSB displays odds in decimal format, so the number shown is what your stake is multiplied by if the bet wins. A stake of TSH 1,000 at odds of 2.40 returns TSH 2,400 in total if the selection wins — the further from 1.00 the odds are, the less likely the market is considered, and the bigger the payout if it comes in.
Building a Multi-Bet (Accumulator) at GSB
Combining two or more selections from different matches into a single bet slip creates a multi-bet, sometimes called an accumulator. All selections need to win for the bet to pay out, and the odds multiply together — a small stake across several close-priced legs can add up to a much larger potential return than betting on each match alone.
Placing Your First Sports Bet
- Open the Sports tab and pick football, basketball or Formula 1.
- Choose a match or event from the fixture list.
- Tap a market and odds to add the selection to your bet slip.
- Enter your stake in the bet slip.
- Confirm the bet to place it — repeat step 3 first if you want to build a multi-bet.
